My name is Sam Guzman, and this is my blog. A little about me:

I enjoy thinking and pondering the deep roots of things. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am a convert to the Catholic Church. I am a writer, in the sense that I can’t help but write. I am moved by cathedrals, art, poetry, prose, music—beauty in all its forms. I find few things more fun than a good conversation. I am a Christian Humanist. Two miracles fill me with wonder: Existence and the Incarnation. I love nature—especially trees, mountains, and thunderstorms. My family is very important to me. I’d rather drink tea, hot or cold, than just about anything. I live in the mountains of Colorado with my beautiful wife and closest friend, Laura.
